Corporate BA Team Coaching — Long-Term Engagements (50+ Hours)

CORPORATE ONLY · 50+ HOUR MINIMUM ENGAGEMENT

Corporate BA Team Coaching
Long-Term Engagements

We embed with your business analysis team for sustained capability uplift — not a one-day workshop. Minimum 50 hours. NZ & Australia.

⚠ Corporate engagements only

This programme is exclusively for organisations with an existing or growing business analysis team. If you are an individual seeking BA training or career coaching, our CBBA self-paced course or corporate instructor-led training are the right starting point.

What Corporate BA Team Coaching Is

Most BA training is a one-off event. Skills fade, old habits return, and your team reverts to the ways they always worked. Our coaching model is different: we work alongside your team over months — attending analysis sessions, reviewing artefacts, providing in-the-moment feedback, and building habits that outlast our engagement.

This is appropriate for organisations where business analysis quality directly affects delivery outcomes and where leadership wants a measurable, lasting capability shift — not a checkbox exercise.

Who This Is For

📊 Heads of BA Practice

Building or scaling a BA function and need consistent standards, shared artefact quality, and a coaching culture embedded in the team.

🏗️ Delivery Leaders / PMOs

Experiencing repeated requirements issues — rework, scope creep, late-stage surprises — and want root-cause BA capability uplift, not just another framework course.

🏢 Enterprise Transformation Teams

Running large programmes where BA quality is a critical risk factor. Need expert oversight, artefact review, and standards alignment across multiple streams.

📋 Government & Public Sector

NZ/AU government agencies building internal BA capability to reduce reliance on external contractors and strengthen in-house delivery.

What Coaching Engagements Include

Live artefact review sessions

We review BRDs, process maps, user stories, and other BA outputs with your team — in real time, with constructive critique.

Elicitation & facilitation shadowing

We observe (and coach in real time) your BAs running workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions.

Standards development

We help you establish or refine your BA standards — templates, quality gates, review processes — appropriate to your organisation’s maturity.

1:1 practitioner development

Structured coaching conversations for individual BAs on specific technique gaps, career trajectory, and CBBA alignment.

Progress measurement

We define capability baselines at the start and measure progress at agreed milestones — so you can report on ROI internally.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why 50 hours minimum?

Durable capability change requires sustained repetition and feedback loops. In our experience, shorter engagements produce awareness but not habit change. Fifty hours is the floor for meaningful, measurable improvement — anything shorter risks being surface-level.

Can we do this remotely?

Yes. We run effective engagements fully virtually for distributed NZ and Australian teams. Artefact reviews, shadowing (via screen share), and 1:1 sessions all work well remotely. We recommend at least one in-person kickoff if geography allows.

Is this separate from your instructor-led training?

Yes. Instructor-led training is a structured 2-day CBBA certification delivery (10–20 people). Team coaching is an ongoing embedded engagement — typically starting after or alongside training, to reinforce and apply what was learned in real delivery contexts.

How do we measure success?

We agree measurable outcomes at the start — e.g. artefact quality scores, reduction in requirements-related rework, CBBA certification rates, or stakeholder satisfaction scores. We report against these at each milestone so you have evidence to present internally.
